Newton, MA
The goal of this feasibility study was to return the chapel to the center of campus and complete the quadrangle that formed its core. The location of the chapel reinforces worship and spiritual life as the focus of the institution. In addition, a new library was part of the program and was placed beneath the chapel. A bell tower joined them and became a new symbol for the school. The ringing of its bell would be a call to prayer, to education, and be a marker of time.
